The 20th World Athletics Under-20 (U20) Championships began in Lima, Peru yesterday with mixed results for Team Bahamas. During the first day of competition, Calea Jackson competed in the women’s discus, while sprinters Shayann Demeritte, Jeremiah Adderley, and Carlos Brown Jr saw action in the 100 meters.
